Thank you to everyone who joined in with our second weekend of #MoviolaTogether with our choice of Local Hero.

It’s now time to switch things up and throw the choice over to you for this weekend’s film!

We are choosing films that are readily available for free through YouTube, BBC iPlayer, All4 and other free platforms so that there is no expense for anyone who wishes to watch along.

This might mean that the film isn’t fresh out of the cinemas, but it also is a good opportunity to catch up with something that you may have missed over the last few years.

Our poll below shows films we think are good uplifting films (once again, many of you cited that this is what you would like), that are both a mixture of old and new alike.

The shortlist is as follows

(click each title to find out more)

BRASSED OFF (1996)

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS (2016)

I WISH (2011)

THE LAVENDER HILL MOB (1951)

SITA SINGS THE BLUES (2008)

VICTORIA & ABDUL (2017)

A FISH CALLED WANDA (1988)

CARRY ON UP THE KHYBER (1968)

EFFIE GRAY (2014)

Voting closes on Friday 17th April at 1pm so make your choice at a click of a button below!
