It’s the 60th birthday of this classic comedy thriller, which as well as a stellar cast boasts an atmospheric score by Henry Mancini and to-die-for Givenchy outfits. Regina Lampert (Audrey Hepburn) meets the dashing Peter Joshua (Cary Grant) on a skiing holiday in the French Alps. On returning home to Paris, she discovers that her husband has been murdered and her apartment ransacked. Almost at once, she finds herself threatened by three of her late husband’s World War II cronies, Tex (James Coburn), Scobie (George Kennedy) and Gideon (Ned Glass), who are after a quarter of a million dollars the quartet stole while behind enemy lines. Peter offers assistance, but why does he keep changing his name?
