Based on the novel There's A Porpoise Close Behind Us by Noel Langley, this is a story set in London's theatreland in the years leading up to World War 2.  Zoe Tapper plays Diana Shaw, a young woman eager to follow in her famous actress mother's footsteps.  Sharing her ambition and competing for her affections are Robin (David Leon), a struggling writer, and Christopher (Andrew Lincoln), an aspiring director.  The film boasts an amazing cast including Anjelica Huston as an American theatrical angel, Terence Stamp as an eccentric butler with a penchant for one-liners, Joss Ackland and Lauren Bacall.
