When she is told by her doctor that she has three weeks to live, she blows all her savings on a trip to a luxury Czech hotel where her idol (played by Gerard Depardieu) is the chef. There, thinking she has nothing to lose, she undergoes a metamorphosis, and her transformation affects everyone around her.
