A haunting love story photographed amid the stunning landscapes of the Australian outback.  Toni Collette - one of the cinema's best young talents - plays a confident young geologist who is forced against her better judgement to accompany a young Japanese businessman on a tour.  Their developing relationship, the clash of cultures and an extraordinary twist in the story means that their lives will be changed for ever.  This is quality Australian film-making:  wonderful photography, lovely music, great acting, especially from Ms Collette.  The film stays with you long after you've left the cinema.
