Based on Peter Mayle's A Year in Provence,
this comedy from Ridley Scott stars Russell Crowe as Max Skinner, a highly
successful investment expert who returns to the vineyard of his childhood when
his estranged uncle dies. He intends to sell the vineyard as quickly as
possible and put his past behind him, but instead he rediscovers a part of
himself which has been lost since childhood. A warm and enjoyable story
and gorgeous scenery. Albert Finney is Uncle Henry, and young Max is
played by Freddie Highmore (Peter in Finding Neverland).
