Access to the village is off the A37 Dorchester to Yeovil road, approx. 3 miles west of Dorchester.

From the WEST: Proceed through Grimstone and pass the village of Stratton. Immediately after passing Stratton, proceed under the railway bridge and prepare to turn RIGHT, signposted for the village.  From the EAST: Coming either through Dorchester or via the bypass, proceed towards Yeovil and, with Charminster turn off(s) on the right the turn into the village is on the left approx. 1 mile past Charminster.  Proceed along the narrow road into the village (no more than 1/2 mile) and after crossing the bridge the village hall is directly opposite. There is a little on street parking and you can also park in front of the church, just up the track facing you as you arrive at the village cross-roads.
